It was hard for me to get into Final Fantasy VIII, but I really wanted to. I came to it too late and only had it on the Steam version (this is before the remaster was released), and the camera made me want to die a little bit. Also I guess the beginning is universally accepted to be slow and hard to get into. I really liked Final Fantasy XIII, which I know is an unpopular opinion, and have hit a roadblock on my progression through XIII-2. I played XV through all the fun parts, and couldn't bear to go any further once we got on the train (that's not a spoiler, but should help anyone who's played understand).
Morrowind is one of my all-time favourite games! I got so into the lore and writing of that game, and have replayed it multiple times over the past 20... years...

But seriously, I think it's one of the best games ever made, and that's saying something given the garbage fire that Bethesda would later become.
I also really love Obsidian games! I recommend most of them. Deadfire, Knights of the Old Republic 2, Tyranny... they make some of the best RPGs out there, almost entirely thanks to the fact that they employ some of the best writers to ever be in the video game industry. It makes me happy to talk about them.
