Hey friends! It's Áth, acting Councillor for Foreign Affairs for Refugia.

I was just thinking that it might be nice to have a topic concerning our positions on foreign affairs, policies, and embassies, as well as a way for me and the region to exchange and converse. Here I'll be posting updates, polls, and other questions concerning Refugia's rapport to the outside world.

Hey friend! I was wondering if you could look into possibly opening an embassy with the NS region of Canada. We seem to fill their requirements for friendship now, and Luca and I have been chatting with some of their members for a little while.

An embassy between Refugia and Canada is in its construction phase, I'm glad to announce as well work on gaining embassies with Forest, (perhaps Evergreen Conifer if Gallaton ever gets back to me) Karma and finally Wysteria. In the future, I intend for the joining or creation of a Pact. Some may know of the Evergreen Pact, this pact was for regions with forest-friendly intentions. If anyone wishes to assist with a new pact I'd be glad to hear a reply from you! also sorry for my silence around the forums I've been in discussions with Ambassadors and Foreign Affairs ministers quite a lot.

I would be very interested in seeing the return of the Evergreen Pact. I understand that some people didn't like it for various reasons, but I like the idea behind what it represents and how it represents the regions that are involved in it.

      [align=center]Refugia being a Green peaceful nation (for the most part) there are a few requirements for embassy requests.[/align]
Unless the current Foreign Affairs Minister (currentlySubadent) has come to you for an embassy your region must be applicable under these requirements:

  1. Friendly.

  2. More than 7 WA members.

  3. Anti-Fascist.

  4. Region established more than 2 months ago.

[align=center]If you have been denied for not complying with these requirements you may reapply once you comply with them. Some exceptions may be made depending on the feeling and kindness shown. If regions are embassy collectors its an automatic denial.[/align]

I like that draft. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that could be improved, but if I do, I'll let you know. I think having Refugia spearhead a pact would do a lot of good for us. The work you're doing has absolutely blown me away.

Unrelated: As much as I hate to say it, I suspect that Conifer is either too inactive or too inattentive to notice the embassy request. Maybe things will change if and when there is another election for leader, but for the moment it may not be worth the fuss.
